One of the BEST POLLINATOR shrubs, it blooms generously for up to 12 MONTHS out of the year, offering not only a near-constant display of flowers but also providing tasty nectar for bees and butterflies through winter. Growing into a big, bushy shrub reaching about 6' x 6', it features handsome fig-like foliage and produces showy, cherry-eyed pink, hollyhock-like blooms that are an extra-large 3" across. In the landscape, Anisodontea Strybing Beauty thrives in well-drained soil and performs best with an annual side-dressing of compost for optimal flowering. It can also be pruned to around 3' if a more compact form is desired.
